A valuable supercar was successfully lifted into a night club and bar in Skegness.
The streets of the city came to a standstill to watch a luxury Lamborghini valued at £ 350,000 hoist to the third floor of The Hive on Grand Parade.
It will be the focal point of the venues’ spacious Supercar VIP lounge when it is officially unveiled next month.
The Hive, a multi-million pound nightlife complex in the heart of Skegness, is only now the second place in the world to have a supercar in a bar.
It is preparing for the start of its “Supercar VIP Lounge” in June.
The fully street legal supercar worth 350,000 pounds, which accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and can reach a speed of more than 300 mph, is now in its new surroundings.
A heavy logistical operation was made more difficult when the crane booked for lifting failed and the spectacle was delayed by around three hours.

But finally, on May 27 at 11:00 am, the “flying Lamborghini” left the ground and was successfully installed.
Matthew Dickinson, spokesperson for The Hive, said, “We had a fantastic day pre-launching our brand new Supercar VIP lounge – and after weeks of planning it was so good to finally get the wheels moving on this new addition to the beehive!
“After a year of constraints and challenges, especially for the hospitality industry, it was wonderful to bring Skegness the much-needed excitement – even if it was only for a few hours!
“The Lamborghini lift got people talking and when it was lifted into the building there was a real stir among people who stopped to take photos and videos and see what was going on.”
A special guest provided entertainment for the spectators and former British Drift Championship presenter Nathan Black was there to provide the audience with entertainment and interesting facts about the car.

Skegness Mayor Trevor Burnham said: “It is an honor to be part of this extraordinary event – and to see even more the people in Skegness getting involved in supporting one of the town’s local businesses.
“It will be great to see the supercar in all its glory when the new bar opens in June.”

The nightspot claims it will be the first venue in the UK and the second in the world to boast a supercar in the bar. The other is in New York.
The Hive is already home to a variety of bars and clubs, and in addition to the Supercar VIP Lounge, the multi-million pound complex will feature more bars and clubs for Skegness nightlife in the coming months.
This includes the launch of a phenomenal Ice Bar Experience – the only one of its kind in the UK – at the end of July.
Matthew added, “Everything about our Las Vegas inspired supercar VIP lounge will be revealed next month.
“But what I can say is that it will be the perfect place for those who want to impress themselves with our Lamborghini centerpiece, bubble up and take the important Instagram-worthy pictures – ideal for birthdays and special celebrations!
“Details on the exclusive VIP launch party will be announced shortly, so check out this room.”
