The application form was made available on the Council website at 9.30am on Friday 7 January.
Applications must be submitted by Monday, February 28th to be counted.
A £ 1 billion bailout was announced by Rishi Sunak ahead of Christmas amid rumors of another lockdown as early as Monday the 27th.
Business owners have also been warned that the grant is taxable and must be included on their tax returns.
Companies that are in administration, bankrupt or in the process of dissolution cannot receive a grant.
A council spokesman added that the council is still awaiting funding for an additional restriction grant, which Mr Sunak also outlined.
He said: “We are still awaiting notification of the central government departments’ budget allocations and, as in previous ARGs, Bassetlaw is working with other Nottinghamshire authorities on a joint policy to ensure consistency in eligibility criteria and grant awards.
“Once we receive a notice from the government and the policy is in place and approved, the council will send further updates through our website, business support newsletter and social media.
“A grant application form is under development so we can go live with this program once the policy is in place as we recognize the urgency of businesses to get this support.”
