Christmas tree for all seasons! A family avoids putting away festive decorations by keeping the tree upright year round and decorating it for everything from Halloween to Valentine’s Day
- Vicki Morley, 44, of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, has kept the tree up and running year round
- Originally, she kept the Christmas decorations up after last year’s festivities so that her brother, who was hospitalized at the time, could enjoy it after his discharge
- It was decorated in honor of Halloween, UEFA, and birthday parties
Removing the Christmas balls and clearing the tree is always a chore at the end of the Christmas season.
But one family found a way to avoid this – by keeping their tree upright year round and redecorating it for everything from Valentine’s Day to Halloween.
Vicki Morley, 44, originally kept the Christmas decorations up after last year’s lockdown festivities for her brother, who was hospitalized at the time, to enjoy after his discharge.
Versatile: The all-rounder tree is being decorated for this year’s Christmas party by Vicki and Darren Morley from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
And the tree also proved useful for celebrations and commemorations in 2021.
Ms. Morley of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire said: “In January the idea was very simple – a winter tree. After that, there always seemed to be another reason to redecorate it. ‘
In February, Ms. Morley, husband Darren, 50, and their four children added a Valentine’s Day theme. And in March they switched to Mother’s Day decorations.
After daughter Niamh’s 18th birthday in April, Mrs. Morley moved on, dedicating May to the twin daughters she lost during pregnancy in 2005. Then the tree celebrated the Euros, summer, Halloween and Remembrance Day until Christmas was back in circulation.
