Nottingham Forest loanee James Garner has been linked with a Premier League move to Everton.
The Manchester United midfielder is on a season loan to the Reds in his second term at the City Ground after showing a huge success in the second half of last season.
But he reportedly caught the attention of Toffees boss Rafa Benitez.
Freelance journalist Pete O’Rourke tweeted: “Everton are looking to replace Manchester United midfielder James Garner, who went on loan again at Nottingham Forest in the first half of the season.”
He didn’t say whether Garner will be monitored for a possible move this month or this summer.
