Truck driver jobs are available in Nottinghamshire, with salaries up to £ 50,000.
Rolls are available in Mansfield and Newark as the country continues to suffer from a shortage of truck drivers.
There is undoubtedly a shortage at the moment, which is attributed to Covid, Brexit and a number of other factors.
This has had an impact on many shops and restaurants across the country – including Nottingham. Nando has even closed two of its stores in the city because of “problems with its supply chain”.
Here are some of the current vacancies in the county.
Buffaload Logistics Limited – Newark

This full-time position for a Class 1 truck driver requires no more than six points on your driver’s license, the driver’s CPC qualifications and a digital tachograph card, and knowledge of how to use them. They say they are actively recruiting ex-military personnel, reservists, and spouses.
DTT Transport LTD – Mansfield
30,000-40,000 pounds a year. Also a truck class 1 driver position, drivers would be made responsible for the transport of new Mercedes semitrailer tractors and they would be picked up from the Mansfield depot. Their requirements do not include prior driving bans and availability on weekends.
Brake Group – Newark
33,149 euros per year. Brakes are responsible for delivering food to pubs, restaurants and schools across the country. This role would include “accurate picking on the vehicle and delivery of customer orders”, “collecting funds” and “maintaining product temperatures”. This is a class 2 driver role.
XPO Logistics – East Leak
50,000 pounds a year. On a typical day at XPO Logistics, you are expected to deliver gypsum products to customers with two to three drops per day. This is a class 1 driver role.
Bunzl Cleaning and Hygiene Products – Nottingham
22,100 euros a year. A role as a 7.5 t driver working for the UK’s leading provider of janitorial, cleaning and hygiene products. A complete CPC of the driver is just as important as a digital tachocard and an “enthusiastic and highly motivated personality”.
Mitchells Of Mansfield Ltd – Sutton-in-Ashfield
40,300 euros a year. A class 1 driver position as a night driver. A successful applicant should be “flexible and professional with a good knowledge of tachographs”.
Pedigree Wholesale – Nottingham
26,500 euros a year. Applicants for this role must enjoy transporting home and aquatic products as well as have a “positive attitude” and an “intelligent appearance”. This is a class 2 driver position.
